Re: ND at the gun club today during monthly pistol match
Someone told me once, there are no ACCIDENTAL discharges. Only negligent ones. Point being when dealing with a tool such as a firearm, you shouldn't allow any accidents. I feel that's true. In the chemical plants our safety culture says ALL accidents are preventable, both with proper training and p...

Moving to Idaho
Well y'all, it's been fun living in Texas and I sure will miss it, but I was offered a well-paid position in Idaho after these 4 months of unemployment, so I'll be relocating. Anyone know of a good forum similar to this one for Idaho?

I bet it won't be long before they find the guy who did it. They just need to look for the guy with terrible back problems from supporting his MASSIVE CAJONES.

Re: Drones
What would a focused beam of microwave energy do to a drone? Depends. Microwave has a very short wavelength, and power diminishes quickly with distance (inverse square law) like any radio wave. You would need a powerful transmitter, a very tightly focused beam, and a way to aim it. What it would do...

Where's the Line, What's the Cause?
A buddy of mine on Facebook the other day posted some comments about starting White Lives Matter and mobilizing patriots to counter some of the...less patriotic movements in America right now. I told him that his message would be lost immediately under a tidal wave of racism accusations (which would...

Re: Protests - the next level?

Re: Odessa Rifle Carry, Law Discussion
Update: A certain group we all know is organizing a protest in Odessa on June 6 (interesting day to "storm the beaches" if you ask me). They are encouraging 150 people to show up armed to the teeth to "teach that son of a [you-know-what] sheriff a lesson." They've announced in o...

Re: Protests - the next level?
One thing to consider that I have not seen discussed yet is the limitations of prepaid legal services and forms of self-defense insurance. I'm sure most of us on here pay for such a service, whether it's the NRA, [pre-paid legal], USCCA or similar. As far as I know, all of these services cover firea...
