Re: Status change?

That's why I left myself an out with the words "most likely". :-))

But not all applications will progress at the same speed due to medical records, they used to check for unpaid taxes, get copies of court dispositions, have to check same or similar names- it was actually an extensive in depth background investigation not just a TCIC/NCIC check for wanted.

With this type of in depth investigation they can't possibly all progress at the same pace.

I could probably find out with a text message how the investigations are assigned, but Im not going to. I'll save that text for something more self serving :-))But I cannot think of a valid reason to skip over a group. That serves no one.

Bottom line, if you're qualified- LTC will come

Re: Status change?

Maybe this will help. Find a calender. Once RDS has absolutely everything they need mark an X through 60 Business days from that last date. ( I know the TRC says days-not business days but seriously the RDS does not work nights-weekends or Holidays). If everything is oerfect, both you and your paperwork --most likely you'll have your LTC in hand within that 60 business day timeline. If there is any item that needs further investigation expect up to 180 business days or a denial. You are going thru a rather rigorous investigation of your physical mental criminal civil and financial life. It's not just about a speeding ticket 8 years ago in Childress. Texas is a shall issue state. If you survive the background investigation you'll get your LTC.

Good luck-relax and trust me on the business day countdown
