Re: Campus Carry Survey for Faculty
I completely agree with the sentiments posted here. Yes, the survey is flawed in many ways, especially when users don't have to validate their identity or prove they are the targeted audience. However, you know the anti establishments will definitely complete it so I was hoping to at least make sure...

Campus Carry Survey for Faculty
I received this survey from a colleague. It's all open ended questions and they asked to pass on the info to other faculty. If you teach, please complete the survey. Here is what was forwarded to me: "I am conducting research on the faculty view of the Texas Campus Carry Law that went into effe...

Re: "Ideal" campus carry plan
Thanks for the replies. They are truly helpful. I understand restrictions for areas with MRI's etc where there is a danger from any metal object being present. My Dad was a welder and we couldn't answer doctor's questions good enough before he needed an MRI and they did several X-rays just to be sur...

Re: SXSW Weapons Free policy 2016
I just read that President Obama is opting to attend SXSW instead of Nancy Reagan's funeral. She made arrangements before her death and rumor has it she might not have invited him.

Re: University of Texas dean quits school for job in Pennsylvania because of Lone Star state’s new policy allowing guns
Since there is a lot of confusion over quoting previous posts, I won't quote anyone specifically. However, I want to assure you that there are college faculty that support the right to carry and are indeed working on campuses to ensure it is accepted and implemented as efficiently as possible. Just ...

Re: Private U ?
This quote from ACU The ACU senior administration respects all views on this sometimes divisive topic but felt that maintaining a gun-free campus was in the best interest of the campus community and is thankful to have a 24/7 campus police department available to respond to situations should they ar...
