Re: Liquor Store Carry???

If you remember where that sign is, I can try to get them a new sign. It is the old version of the off-premises consumption sign. The local auditor or agent checking the place probably did not pay too close attention to it since it was basically the right sign, if the wrong wording. Here ya go. :pa...

Re: Liquor Store Carry???

What is the date on that sign? I have only seen the standard "unlicensed" sign - I don't think that is a current TABC sign. I can't make out the date. I tried to zoom in on the original, but what you see is about the best my crummy camera phone can do. Maybe I'll swing by there in the nex...

Re: Liquor Store Carry???

Can anyone explain this? Yesterday, I was with a friend who decided to stop in to the liquor store and pick up a beverage. While waiting in the car, I perused all the signs and posters the store had in the front window when the sign below caught my eye. Interesting I thought.... After further inspec...

Anyone can. It's legal for several dozen categories of Texans -- peace officers, judges, DAs, travelers ...

During one part of the live report there was one part I found odd. They showed several knives that had been confiscated and then the reporter went on to say that if you are caught with a weapon at the gate (not speaking of CHL'ers) then you will be given two options. 1. Return it to your vehicle 2. ...

I would carry openly. I've heard the argument over and over again about becoming a target if open carrying but I still question this theory. How about the argument that the gun could get snatched by someone when you find yourself in close quarters with a lot of other people around? It (being in clo...

I would carry openly. I've heard the argument over and over again about becoming a target if open carrying but I still question this theory. It would seem to me that if a BG walked in a bank and saw a LEO, they would be deterred from proceeding further (assuming said BG isn't a crackhead). I think c...

Is that picture taken at Oak Hill. Just curios since i used to go there and I noticed the duct tape. Nope. That is Motorsport Ranch in Cresson. I did however have an 80mph get off at Oak Hill in July. Actually, it happened the day before my CHL class. I was very lucky with only a bruised shoulder a...

Thank for all the replies everyone. Yes, we are WAY under the 2M mark. Talking a lawyer about this may be good idea.
