CHL/LEO, you might want to modify your original post, so that someone late to the conversation doesn't have to read several pages in to find out that CHLs are once again okay to carry.

The better term is LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004). There have been three more "HR218s" since then, which undoubtedly had nothing to do with guns.

Fair Park is owned by the City of Dallas.

Earlier this year there was some discussion about being denied entry to government property, or charged with 30.05 trespass, even when 30.06 can't legally apply.

Looks like this is going to be the biggest opportunity to push the issue.

Not that you could pay me to go to Fair Park, especially during the State Fair... but good luck to those who challenge them on this.
