I guess you have not been called for jury duty in awhile then...
I served on a jury just this past year. Jury duty isn't voluntary. ;-)

Years ago, I made it a personal goal to never, ever, voluntarily go anywhere that I'm treated like a criminal. I refuse to give someone money and then be treated like a felon.

I can imagine circumstances where I might have to fly for a family emergency, or be forced to travel by air as part of my job. Thus the "voluntarily" disclaimer, but so far I've kept my vow.
