I am all in 2/23/2016 and still no changes. I called last month and they told me that the background check started on on 4/12 and it could take up to 60 days. No correspondence has been sent to me as of 5/13/16
I called RSD today and I was told that my application was in progress as of 5/7/16. I was told that it usually takes 30 days after it gets moved to "in progress" status.
No change on the Website status. I still get the same old status.
"LICENSE APPLICATION STATUS: If you have a pending License to Carry a Handgun application, please allow sufficient time for processing. If you have not already done so, please submit all of the items listed on the checklist you received. DPS will notify you by mail if further information or additional documents are required."
Is this what everyone else is getting?
Yes. But you should have received the plastic within 2 business days after the website update. I would call to enquire. (Hopefully it was not lost in the mail).ike2016 wrote:Class - 1/17

I am on the same boat. Sometimes your supporting documents may be lost in the emailbox and it may take weeks to retrieve them. So that is another issue that can set you back.Kueb71 wrote:ME

I sent my paperwork in before my wife did and she has had her plastic for 3 weeks. Still waiting.....
