Date of completed application really isn't a comparative benchmark. You have to remember that the first phase of the background check is (mostly) computerized, but following that the application history has to be researched at the local jurisdiction level. Odds are, you and your friend haven't live...

My friend and I applied,fingerprinted,and went to CHL Class together. Both sent paperwork on March 28th. He got his plastic May 6th. Me I am still waiting..Oh well someday chicken and someday feathers.
