Review (sort of) of beretta's 92x centurion
Not really a review, per se but, I've had questions in the past that you kind folks have been extremely helpful with in the past. I've had great luck with you lot, so I thought I'd add what information I can to maybe help someone else out. Just my thoughts on the new pizza gat. I'm sure everyone has...

Re: 1911
I would look into TT gunleather. I own two Mikes specials for a colt rail gun (colt M45) and a Beretta 92FS. They're great for larger guns, the opening is reinforced, and the standard leather is $120 shipped with a decent turnaround time. The guy answers emails in a timely manner, and does top notch...

Remington R1 enhanced threaded barrel slide stop question
I bought one of these pistols a couple weeks ago and thought I looked it over good enough........silly me. When I test fired it the other day I noticed the slide stop hangs into the upper radius of the trigger area. No effect on function or accuracy, but I'm a little concerned. I own several 1911's ...

Re: Knife Recomendacion!!
Get a mikov. Won't break the bank, it's a decent blade geometry, easy to sharpen/rework, and it's a leverlock.........plus you can get them with different scales and corkscrews & such. And they pair up nicely with a cz 75 or p01

Re: Glock generation 4 and 5
Can't say anything about the gen5 but, the gen4's have a marginally better grip than gen3. Although the grip is thinner (to me) the plastic seems more flimsy. I suppose that's the trade off. And it looks to me like the new gen5's have the nose profile of the old g26. Looks better, but that's subject...

I got rid of mine......still kicking myself for it. It was accurate as heck but I couldn't love the sights and the trigger was weird for me.

Re: Bad parent!
Wow......I'm seeing alot of hypocrisy in this thread. We want children to be independent, yet we remove every single obstacle in their path? No-go. Now, I'm not saying that a four year old should be allowed to wander wally world freely. But, if you see a child that looks lost, scared etc, you ABSOLU...

Re: New thumb snap holster
I just got a desantis thumb break for a p320 (p250, actually) for dirt cheap, myself. The videos I've watched say "no oil, mink oil, etc" use the thumb of either hand to massage and heat the leather of the thumb snap to stretch it into place. I did it, it works. The holster is quite amazin...

Re: The couple with the infamous "F Trump and Sheriff Nehls" signs on their truck
This is definitely a "Freddy Krueger" situation. The more attention we pay, the more power it gives them. Cursing is a low for of expression, nothing more. Words shouldn't hurt us. If they do them, we're no better than the rest of the world. I was once at a kid's softball game when the loc...

Re: Felony Reduced to Misdemeanor...DENIED.
Depending on your charge..........some misdemeanors will get you denied. Also, time since the final disposition may have something to do with it. I was in the same boat, but didn't get denied. Mine had a hold pending some documentation. Once I sent the paperwork I I had plastic in hand within a coup...
