Re: TX: The Low Standards of Hate in the Sixth Worst Airport
Interesting that the business does not discriminate. They follow all laws or they would be nailed by eeoc. Since the owner has a religious paradigm, people don’t like the business... tolerance for all?

Actually she should be happy it’s not one of those guns that shoots by itself.

Re: UT: Starbucks clerk relives attack after customer shoots assailant
I'm glad this situation worked out. But from a different perspective, it could have gone a different way. The attacker was not armed except for the basket that he picked up. Would that be enough of a potentially deadly weapon in many other circumstances to justify a deadly force response? The story...

I don’t have it, but Idaho gets you a few more based on the uscarry map. I think you have to travel there to get it.

Re: NEWBIE Question about CCW
..my understanding is I can definitely carry in Texas because I obtained my Utah CCW as a non-Texas resident. But since I have now moved, I believe I can still carry in Texas with my Utah CCW, but when it comes time to renew.. .Utah won't renew it unless I have my Texas CHL . Am I assuming correctl...

I agree with matching my attire, or for a universal color UPS brown. At a distance it blends to a blah non-color. I read somewhere they chose it because it drew the least attention in the office when making deliveries. Your eye is not drawn to it.

Re: Gun confiscation starts in South Africa
When they come for the guns you have a stark reality to face and decide on, fight for freedom or accept slavery! There are no other options We will need a lot of friends standing by us, one at a time we will be very much out numbered. We can stand/fall on principle as an individual. IF that ever be...

According to police, the suspect broke a window and entered the house. “The homeowner had no choice but to defend his family and himself,” Tan said in an email, adding that he “has been extremely cooperative with detectives.” Happened around midnight. Re: Selling to a non LTC holder
I don't show ID for the same reasons I don't do transactions at my house. 1-I don't want strangers who know I have guns or valuable things to know where to come get them when I am not home. 2- giving a copy if my DL gives full name, address, birthday, dl#. A little online research and my identity is...

Re: Connecticut assault victim gets 18 months in jail for stabbing attacker
I was mocking CT law. CA has same type of laws.
If national reciprocity gets passed, and even for current reciprical states, we need to know not just where we can carry, but what the threshold is for use of force.

Re: Selling to a non LTC holder
I'm not giving my personal info to a stranger. The reason I buy private is no paper trail. If they want LTC I'll show my pic and exp date, but block address, number, etc. Just like ccw insurance ( may as well add gas to a hot topic), are there documented cases someone bought a stolen gun innocently ...

Mandatory retreat laws go past gun free zones, and take it to a no fight back zone. BG walks in your front door, says I am her to steal your stuff, you are required to walk out the back door and watch, just to avoid violence. Surprised they don't require you to help load the guys van.

Re: Do Not make a company aware of their non-compliant signs!
I don’t seem to fathom how someone can tell a store owner what they need to do to allow patrons not to carry. That’s some California logic. California logic is not allowing to carry, spent many years there. I agree private property owners have the right, and should have the right, to prohibit guns....
