Re: Paul Ryan Dragging Feet on Reciprocity

I'd be happy if the current schmucks would pass term limit but exempt themselves... we'd have to wait but we'd get there

Re: OK I'm getting jealous!!

The wife and I were at the gun store getting new night sights put on my M&P 2.0. While we were waiting one of the guys behind the counter asked me if I had seen anything I couldn't live without. I turned and pointed at my wife and said "her." Major points awarded! :biggrinjester: Nail...

Re: Crypto-currencies

This is funny - I am sure this was recorded first but I've seen his son give the exact same presentation - practically word for word.

Re: OR: 2 Portland men stabbed to death after defending 2 Muslim women from hate speech

Thought I would chime in here as I was in Portland when this happened and saw a large amount of local news coverage. I believe killer had a run in on pdx transit the day before and was maced by a woman. There is reportedly a video of killer (also taken the day before) talking on his phone about the ...

You are correct. They will print and mail it shortly and then update that line item to green. From there, I'd say 2-3 days.

Re: Embarrassing question: Public intox arrest, charges dropped...

I would apply as soon as possible if you haven't done so. I don't think you will ultimately need any paperwork on the arrest but I would not wait to apply in an event.

Re: Background Check Under Review - Why?

Past performance is not indicative of future results... The state should maintain records that allow for a quick, electronic search of one's past arrest record, state-wide. I'm sure, however, that when they pull a background check that comes back clean and the applicant has self-reported incidents t...

Re: Background Check Under Review - Why?

Re: Paperwork submitted 1/11/2016-No permit!!

I have heard they are extremely busy with new applications. Maybe the ones that aren't as cut and dried are not getting processed as timely as they should. Sometimes that's just the way it works. Some new applications are being processed within 2 weeks. OP needs to enlist the help of his representa...

Re: Texas Capitol - State Trooper Contact

When the USAF brought me to Texas in 1998 I had already made up my mind to stay, and there was still that 6-month wait for CHLs required for new residents. I scurried down the DPS office to get my DL so I could register to vote, establish residence etc. I had an old DL from Indiana that used an eve...
