The state should maintain records that allow for a quick, electronic search of one's past arrest record, state-wide. I'm sure, however, that when they pull a background check that comes back clean and the applicant has self-reported incidents they wonder what else could be missing. Human Nature. Of course, this data collection/sharing responsibility doesn't fall on the shoulders of those tasked with processing applications, but it is a bit ridiculous IMO.

I think yall are giving them WAY too much credit. The results of the quick background check either disqualify or not.

I'm not sure I understand why it should make a huge difference in timing if you have non-disqualifying events on your background report.infoman wrote:It makes a hudge difference if you have anything on your background or not, no matter how minor or long ago.
