Super bowl
With the super bowl coming to Houston in two weeks, does anyone know if events like the NFL experience, which is held at the George R Brown convention center and an open party at discovery green , would be off limits to conceal carry? Is it best to look for 30.06/30.07 signs. Not 100 percent if any ...

Re: School definition/carry
The day care my child goes to has a 30.07 sign posted. Big letters and all at the front window. So I'd assume daycares aren't considered a "school"

Pumpkin patch
In general, is it ok to carry at a pumpkin patch? Would it be considered an amusement park? Or should I just look for 30.06 signs?

Re: School playground
Someone with greater knowledge than myself will probably chime in here in a minute. I think you would be fine as long as it is not during school hours. During school hours might still be legal, but would probably be a bad idea. My only thought is that I can't think of a way to carry on body that I ...

Re: School playground
Not sure legally about carrying on the school playground, but personally I would leave it locked in the car in the parking lot. Too risky to leave it in a bag beside the court while you play. I'd rather have it locked in my locked box cable-tied to the underside of my carseat for security reasons. ...

School playground
Is it illegal to carry on person or in a duffle bag or back pack a handgun on a school playground? The reason I ask is because once a week a few guys from the neighborhood like to play pick up basketball at the local elementary school in the neighborhood. I know you can't carry in a school but what ...

Re: Houston ... We have a traffic question
I live right off 290 and Eldridge. The last couple weeks 290
Has been shut down at the beltway. Causing a nightmare. Not sure what the traffic or construction schedule is for this weekend. I just avoid 290 all the way. Lol. If you drive through early, you probably won't have any issues.

Question regarding signage
This might be a silly question, so forgive me. But my question is most places that post a 30.06 sign also post 30.07 signs as well, basically saying no guns allowed, but what if you come across a place that only has a 30.06 sign? Does this mean as a person who has a ltc, do you have to carry openly?...

Re: TABC App for iPhone
I see on the app, that it tells you if the bar requires a red gun sign... If the bar/pub I attend sometimes shows no red gun sign is needed but they have one posted anyways... Is the sign they have out front, legal?

Re: Holsters
To carry open, I've read you have to have a shoulder or belt holster... Will a hip holster work? As far as abiding by the law i should say. There are multiple 8+ page threads on this. Really if it is a holster, is in the waist region, and you have a belt. You are probably going to be okay. Thank yo...
