Re: Self Defense Knife???
There's a number of knives pictured above me I would never buy for self defense. They don't have anything hinting of a hilt. a CRKT M21-14DSFG: http://www.crkt.com/M21-Special-Forces-Desert-Tan-G10-Handle-AutoLAWKS-Veff-Combo http://www.knivesplus.com/media/CR-M2114DSFG.jpg This knife has a very pr...

You are correct just never thought much about it. Thinking about now I guess it makes sense just never put two and two together.MechAg94 wrote:It is one of the questions on the 4473 form to buy a gun.1911 10MM wrote:I was unaware a dishonorable discharge removed gun rights. Re: Shotgun selection
Grab a gun has Weatherby SA-08 in several gauges. This is a semi auto that is right at 500.00. I have one with synthetic stock and it has never failed me and is what my son uses for shooting clays since I got my Browning.

Re: LTC renewal, come on DPS.......!
Just by answering the questions you may have about someone other than yourself the DPS would be admitting or confirming that there is an application in process. The question I was asking "what does a person do at this point to initiate having a replacement sent" applies to EVERYONE. It wa...

Re: Clearing Overgrown Land
..... Why would you recommend painting rings around the trees when the section you quoted clearly says the markings must be vertical? Evidently it's a common misunderstanding. First time I ever saw this after moving to Texas (1996) it was a purple ring around a tree so I guess I just always just bl...

Re: New Glock convert? We will see.
Never owned a Glock until now. Stumbled across a fairly good deal on a Glock 17 Gen 3, advertised as slightly used, but looks brand new to me, no residue, no marks, etc... In the box, all paper work still sealed. $440 for it with 4 mags. The trigger is really, really good compared to my M&P's, ...

Re: John Cornyn of Texas is focused on bump-stocks
If we ever get national reciprocity there is no way in the world I'd take a handgun to a commie state. Never. John Cornyn and other RINOS will make sure that this never happens! They talk a good game but when it comes right down to it all they offer is lip service. They talk the talk but refuse to ...

Re: Hearing Protection Act of 2017
Theory -- Amend SHARE Act to include bump stock ban. Leave HPA language in place. Acceptable to anyone? ETA: Better yet -- make bump stocks NFA items so they're at least available to those who really want them. So we remove one NFA item, and add one in its place. I was thinking about this today as ...
