Re: Question: Chief Law Enforcement Office for NFA FORM 4 Notification
Curious as to what a County Sheriff or Chief of Police does with these notifications. Stick them in a drawer, throw them away or keep them readily accessible? Do they have any requirements by law to handle these notifications in a certain manner?

Re: OWB Paddle Holster That’s Concealable
Does anyone have a Contact! Concealment Paddle Holster? I read a review on another forum that says it keeps your gun up high and very close to the body. Would love to hear if this is truly the case. Not looking to add to my drawer of holsters...

OWB Paddle Holster That’s Concealable
Hi Folks, I’m looking for an OWB paddle holster (for easy on and off capabilities when entering a restricted area) that also hugs the body and is fairly concealable with an untucked shirt. A lot of the holsters I’ve used tend to angle the grip away from the body causing it to visibly stick out. Does...

He’s leaning the wrong way too. People lean into the wind in these storms. So silly.

It’s just an awful story for that family. After all that and they receive nothing. Doesn’t seem right.
Also raises the point of these no-knock warrants. Definitely contributed to his death.

Should Congress End Qualified Immunity for Police Officers?
https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/09/end-qualified-immunity-supreme-court/ “In the early morning hours of July 15, 2012, a young man named Andrew Scott was up late, home with his girlfriend. They were playing video games when they heard a loud pounding on the door. Alarmed, Scott grabbed a pistol ...

https://empowertexans.com/around-texas/half-of-austin-lobbyists-represent-governments/ “Over half of registered lobbyists in Texas are hired to defend the power of local governments, paid for with taxpayer money. It makes perfect sense then, that State Sen. Konni Burton’s (R-Colleyville) effort (SB ...

Re: Priorities for 2019 legislative session
Let’s think even bigger and focus on removing the ability of cities, counties and all other public entities to hire lobbyists. Texas is one of the few states that allows this. I doubt there isn’t one instance where they aren’t lobbying against our 2nd amendment rights.

Re: Colorado taking first steps towards complete confiscation
One problem is that a judge will have more incentive to confiscate the firearms than not. If the judge does not confiscate and the subject later commits mass murder, imagine the response. However, if a judge confiscates from a person who is not a threat, no one is going to be up in arms except that ...

Re: When is a school a school?
It pretty much is a joint use area. The school uses it exclusively M-F, and the church uses it exclusively Sunday mornings for Sunday school classes. The church also uses it on Wednesday nights. Could a prosecutor charge you with a felony for carry in the building during Sunday morning? Is it worth ...

Re: When is a school a school?
Yes it is accredited. My guess is the law may not address this specific situation. Or perhaps there’s an agreement between the church and school which specifies control, maintenance, etc. Of course the general public would have no knowledge of what is in such agreement. Again, there could be negativ...

When is a school a school?
I've looked and cannot find this answered before. My kid attends a private K-12 school that is on a church campus and connected to the main church building. The church is not posted 30.06 or 30.07. According to the county appraisal district (which probably means nothing from a legal perspective), th...

PSA PMAG Rubio Pricing
Just received the email for weekend deals at PSA. Their PMAGs are usually on sale for $7.99. Today they’re $8.99. Not a huge jump but guessing this may have something to do with Rubio’s comments at the “townhall” this week.

Charles, I have copied and pasted this message, unedited, onto my facebook business page (LTC/Firearms training), and given citation that it is from published from texasfirearmscoalition.com. Is that acceptable? Absolutely! Thanks for publishing it. We need to get people behind this concept so we c...
