I just bought a Howa 1500 multicam and only complaint (as with every rifle I looked at) is the cheek weld is low. I was thinking I could use the black pipe insulation I have but did not want to use regular tape or glue. As an aside: I firmly believe the firearm manufactures do that because they're in cahoots with the accessory manufactures.
