It depends if you have any arrests or not. It makes a big difference in time. By big I mean several months. also if you were in the Military and provided a DD214, they have to check that out which adds to the time frame. If you held a security clearance higher than "secret", that may play...

I have pretty much the same time line. Status update 8/10 waiting on the BG for three weeks now. I lived out of state in the last 5 years that's the only thing I can think for the hold up. Oh well I'm sure it will change soon.
