I just kept hitting them with emails, and i specifically quoted from their faq, about after 60 days you should receive something in the mail, if something else is needed. It is on their own website, so they kinda have to respond to it, at least thats what it seemed to me.Rixuneaux wrote:So, there is still hope? I'm at 96 days with Texas, so I gave up. I'm at 12 days waiting on Arizona in the mean time.guard5 wrote:After 102 days since all info was submitted, I finally received an email back from them saying my application has been approved and your license is in the process of being mailed out.
Although I am not all green on the site, maybe they just wanna take their time to update.

Re: "Waiting Room"
I just kept after them, I sent through RSD in quotes the faq answer to how long should I wait for a license in quotes, 2 days later im print pending. Was all in july 17. Print pending yesterday.sevon70 wrote:I had everything submitted by August 22nd and everything but fingerprints and background were green a week later. Its now past the 60 day mark and ive called twice only to be told its processing. If there was an issue with my background, would they not have emailed me or sent me a letter by this point either asking for more info or denying me? I had one arrest over 20 years ago that im pretty sure was dismissed (and in another state). Have had background checks cleared for work, and gun purchases since with no issues. Confused.

I was a class c misdemeanor deferred adjudication.Thumms wrote:Were charges dropped? I had a 16 year old and 9 year old arrest. Both were dropped. I didn't have case numbers but listed charges and final disposition of "dismissed". This may be causing both of our continued delays.guard5 wrote:Yea I listed my only arrest from over 5 years ago case numbers and everything.Thumms wrote:guard5 wrote:I am approaching my 90 days on 10/22, since they have green lit everything except prints and background. Keep us posted. Hopefully we'll both be celebrating our approvals soon!

Did you list any arrests or mental health or drug treatment?
Almost 90 days to the exact day, my Medical Advisory Board paperwork showed up. My treatment program was self initiated and was 9 years ago, so two weeks after sending in my eval from my doctor, I was okayed by the MAB.
The following day, DPS had my info from the MAB. I gave DPS a week and then called to check up on the progress. Got the generic "your app is being processed... we appreciate your patience"...
I see guys on here who amazingly had their entire process take 4-6 weeks. I'm nearly at 6 months and still in limbo.

guard5 wrote:Decided to join up after checking the waiting room to see how everyone else's applications are going.
My timeline:
7/11 Application sent
7/12 Fingerprints done
7/16 Took class and submitted all supporting documents
7/25 Status change all green except fingerprints and background review
9/26 asked RSD a question about my fingerprints being still not completed, since it had been 60 days and got the generic copy pasted response
I replied to the email asking about my fingerprints and have not heard any response.
Update 10/12 Sent through RSD again since I did not receive a reply. I asked about the fingerprints again. I recieved an email saying that according to their records my application is being processed. Which is a waste of an email. They keep avoiding answering my question about my fingerprints in order. Any recomendations?
Background- in last 5 years have lived in 3 different apts due to rent increases after 1st year.
5 and a half years ago had a deferred adjudication on hitting a guardrail. I provided case numbers agency and all supporting information to make it easier to check out.
