The 2024 election will likely mirror 1980. Biden will be gone in 24 months tops. Harris was not sufficiently popular AMONG DEMOCRATS to remain in the race for a single state. The economy is teetering in the middle of an overbought peak a the end of the longest bull run in history amidst widespread real economic weakness and despite maximal Fed stimulus. The stagflationary recession that sunk Carter is coming back.
The GOP needs to find a Ronald Reagan by 2023. I don't see that person right now, and it certainly was not Trump. Weeping over the loss of a spray-tanned blow-hard who privately hated most of us does not get us there.

Re: Joe Biden
I have a bizarre take on this. I think that Biden almost certainly wins, and that it will ultimately help us. The electoral math basically puts Biden in the White House, and that makes holding the Senate absolutely vital. A pro-2A USSC and Federal judiciary and 50 seats in the Senate will radically reduce any damage done (particularly given Jon Tester and Joe Manchin as reliable pro-2A votes). Biden will be hounded by these current scandals and they'll just be added ammunition to install Harris ASAP. That's not a bad thing as a president who quit the primary before voting started will have a tough clime to re-election.
The looming issue is the economy. For tens of millions of Americans, things never got better after 2009. The stock market roared, but it was fueled by cheap debt and zero interest rates. The consequences were punted for 4 years, but Trump has basically done what Obama did: kicked the can down the road. Printing money can only paper over the deeper problems for so long, and COVID suddenly pushed the printing press to the breaking point. The money printed in 2008-2014 stayed stashed on big bank ledgers at the Fed; it barely seeped out to people who might buy normal items so it couldn't really trigger inflation. The storm of money printing for the last 6 months and the coming typhoon that Biden/Harris will unleash is going directly to people who are using it to buy things. Those same people aren't going to work and production of goods has, if anything, fallen. Whenever more money competes for constant supply of goods, prices will rise.
No leader can prevent the correction that is coming, and many economists still dismiss "stagflation" as impossible. The danger is that Trump is the sitting president when that wave crashes. The socialists would latch on to that as the great "Gotcha" moment of capitalism and march toward a "new and glorious" socialist future. If Harris is president with a Democrat House and a nearly Blue senate when that wave crashes, each passing year will render Trump (and the policies that he copied from Obama) more difficult to blame for the economic ruin. You don't want to be the helmsman on a ship irretrievably bound for a lee shore.

They fixed that issue in the M1A1.C-dub wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 11:00 pmI can get one in my Garand. And it's funny, but when the clip is empty the rifle just rejects it and spits it out like it wants me to put another one in. I've tried putting one in the Enfield, but it just won't go. The boolits just slide right out the bottom of the clip, but the clip won't go in.The Annoyed Man wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 9:48 amI have yet to have any success at getting a clip to fit into one of my guns. Biden brags about having banned the number of clips in a gun.
