Given their overall lack of appeal to the mass market, I hope to find one on sale someday.
As it is, I've found a Savage bolt action repeater for just a little bit more in cost. However, the whole point for me was to keep it really low cost.
I've never been in a pawn shop, but I think I'll start looking there too. If no luck, I'll be zeroing in on a new New England Handi-Rifle.
I want a single shot for many reasons, but mostly because there simplicity appeals to me.

Economical Single Shot .243
I was very interested in the Remington SPR18 - until I read many discouraging negative reviews.
So, I'm on the hunt for a no frills, good functioning single shot in .243.
