I am so grateful I have a gate and loooong driveway...

When I lived in a typical sub-division door to door pests were an almost daily and irksome bother.

Now, some three years later, I've had only ONE knock on the door by a stranger and I'm not quite, but almost certain, he was casing the place...when he saw me holding something behind my back as I spoke to him through the closed door, he offered up his lost dog speech and beat a hasty retreat.
