I always have the "keep me logged in" option checked, and I understand that sometimes the auth cookie will expire and I have to log on again. But I've never had it do that in the middle of an active session. Normally those things get refreshed each time you successfully log on. I guess I need to make sure, if I don't start writing posts offline and then copy/paste, that I at least copy what I've written to the PC's clipboard before I preview or submit in order to keep from losing what I've already typed.
