Nope, you can carry loaded and concealed in your vehicle as an unlicensed citizin if you can legally own the gun. The law was calrified and no longer requires you to be 'traveling'. See http://www.legis.state.tx.us/tlodocs/80 ... 01815I.htm It was adopted as of September 1, 2007.

The only problem with a one-on-one class is you are the smartest in class, but also the dumbest!!

Seriously, I would think one-on-one would be good in the fact you get more individual face and discussion time with the instructor, but I enjoyed the interaction with the others and stories they had.

I think my class was great! Everyone was friendly and interacted well. They all seemed to understand the information and provided questions and feedback. Maybe I was the class idiot, so it all seemed good to me.

We did have a couple of folks who were less than average shooters, but Marty and Linda helped them over their issues and everyone passed. We learned a lot and I felt very prepared to have my CHL and know what my roles and responsibilities were. Overall, it was really awesome!
