I just looked again at Sig's site and see they list it under the pistols also, so my bad. The question is, what defines a handgun in Texas?? Is there any clear definition in the law? Charles? IANAL, but SIG lists it on their website as a rifle, not a handgun. Texas issues CHL (Concealed Handgun Licenses), so IMO, if it isn't a handgun then it would not be legal to carry concealed. However, you should be able to carry it per the long-gun laws.
