Actually, this is incorrect. You cannot be intoxicated while carrying, which in Texas is either .08 BAC or impared. And, Taco Cabana has removed their signs.bkj wrote:I’m in the Stafford area. The only restraint chain that I know is 30.06 posted is Taco Cabaña. Also remember zero alcohol consumption while you are carrying.

Re: Coming to Houston from Penna.this week
Welcome to the forum. To basically answer your questions:
1. Not many are posted with 30.06 signs, but if you get oral notice not to carry you must not enter or leave. A good place to check is http://www.texas3006.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and see if the place it listed. It is not a complete list, but has many locations that are known.
2. You can carry in restaurants as long as they don't receive 51% or greater of their income from liquor sales for on-premise consumption. They should be posted with a sign with a red 51% in the sign. Basically, if it smells like a bar and not a restaurant, you probably should steer clear. Most chain restaurants are not posted with 30.06.
Another good resource is here http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/texas.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It has a good synopsis of Texas concealed carry info.
Enjoy your visit!!
