That sometimes happens, but the ones I am personally aware of were all committed with their own weapons. I think there are maybe two trains of twisted thought on the part of the individual committing suicide:dihappy wrote:That's terrible. 1. The family will not have to deal with the aftermath of the suicide in the home (i.e. investigation and cleanup.)
2. If I do this at the gun range, maybe it will be ruled a possible accident and in turn will be able to collect accidental death money on insurance for the beneficiary.
I do know of a couple of other deaths involving guns that were pretty well cut and dried suicides, but the individuals has their guns out like they were cleaning them.
