No. You must have the permit on your person at all times when carrying under CHL. You can carry in your car under the Motorist Protection Act, but you cannot exit your vehicle off of your own property or property you control without the CHL in your possession.Topdog77c wrote:Thought I read on here that once your permit is in the mail, it shows up in the DPS data base you are a CHL permit holder.
