Off Topic, Has anyone herd of an Instructor in the Texas City area that Takes students out to dinner and call it a class? Or an Instructor only shooting students from the 3 yard line? I ask because the general public that go and see my spouse for finger prints seem to talk about it alot.
Seriously, I know there are instructors out there that are not following the rules. Hence the reason for instructor audits being performed. Integrity of instructors needs to be held at the highest level possible. However, it is not just Texas. I saw an article last week from my home area in Missouri where an instructor and at least 5 others were charged with selling completion certificates for CHL with no class required.
As for guest instructors, it is no problem if you bring in a LEO or DA for instance. However, as Crossfire said, it must be written into your curriculum and be pre-approved by DPS via the guest instructor request process.
