It's not just Texas - we recently visited friends in Las Cruces, NM and there was
zero .22LR at WallyWorld. Still looking on-line for decent priced bricks. There's lots of 380 ACP on-line but it's expensive
. BassPro in San Antonio had some 22LR a couple of months ago but the last time I went there was none.
Same with Missouri. Was there over the holidays and went ot Wally World several times in the mid-morning and no .22LR. They said as fast as it comes in it gets bought, even with the box limitaitons. They don't get a whole lot at one time, so the small amount gets bought up quickly. Luckily my Father-In-Law has a stash of it and doesnt shoot .22 much, so was able to get a brick from him.
