Basically, Jan 2013 got convicted of Obstruction of Texas Roadway (Class B Misdemeanor) did 6 months probation, and that was the end of it.
I had been counting the days until I submit my application. Took the class Feb 2, had everything submitted including all necessary court documents by Feb 5, and the online status finally showed on Feb 7. At the moment, everything is green except for Fingerprints, Background Check, and the License to Carry part.
Anyone else have any problems with past transgressions slowing down the processing time on their LTC?Your Jan 2013 conviction of a class B misdemeanor may delay your eligibility. I do not think the 5 year wait starts until time served or probation is over. I might be wrong. The state will notify of any denial and reason for the denial and usually they will give you a date that you are eligible to apply again.
