Taschenlampe

I just ordered one of these beauties: Novatac EDC-120p (Formerly HDS) Thats Every Day Carry - 120 Lumen - programmable flashlight. http://www.novatac.com/edc-p.html  Also, It can handle 3.7v rechargeable RCR123a batteries, so I don't have to buy the 20 packs of CR123's anymore! I can't wait! ...

Shipping

When I shipped my Sig to Sig Arms to get the trigger changed to DA/SA they told me to ship it to them overnight by UPS or Fedex and declare it as "Machine Parts"

I sent FedEx (as I always do) and had no problems.

Re: It depends on the range

I have even seen them disarm off duty police officers. Aren't a lot of officers required to carry even while off duty? Can the range legally disarm law enforcement personnel while off duty? I don't know what the law says, but I saw it happen. I was in line behind a (slightly annoyed) cop and the gu...

It depends on the range

Some ranges don't mind, some do. Bass Pro shop for example requires that you lock up any gun that you are actually going to use. You can carry concealed, but if you do, it must stay concealed the whole time. If you are going to shoot it they put a trigger lock on your gun until you get to the range ...

I will probably not carry inside - unless I get to a point where I don't care about my job. I will leave it locked up in the car. I was never really worried about leaving it in the car even if they do prohibit it because: a.) they will never know anyway unless they searched my car b.) I would quit o...

Carrying at work

I work at a software company in the Dallas area. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to leave my gun in the car all day since the building is not posted - not even a ghost buster sign. I took my CHL last Sunday at DFW Gun Club (not my favorite range, but it was a good class) and the instructor was tal...
