haha, you like my sig then eh? as long as it goes when the bad guy gets physical, i dont care what it looks like.C-dub wrote:Hey now! My Glock will stay in it's Serpa nicely on whatever rides my daughter makes me go on.
On a side note ... I went to the range this weekend and some guy was helping a woman in a slot next to me at Bass Pro, Grapevine. At one point he made this statement, "I'm not a fan of Glock's, but they work. They're ugly, but they work." I proceeded to put 4/5 shots in the x-ring at 20 feet in about 10 seconds with my little G27. Yeah, it works okay.

Re: state fair carry
last year the metal detector line was empty. one of the wanders walked me through the gate to a leo to look at my license and then she told me to enjoy the fair and pointed towards the midway area. i told her i had not purchased my ticket yet and i would go do that first. she laughed and said, enjoy the fair and pointed at the midway again. i walked back to the stands where my wife was, to buy my ticket and she kept laughing at me thinking i wasn't understanding her point. (she was trying to let me in free)Crossfire wrote:That worked exactly 1 time in a row. Since then, I have paid.KFP wrote:Don't you get in for free?
it was all good. make sure your holster can handle those rides though. i always get nervous when my niece wants to go down the big slide and i'm iwb retention clip carry mode.
