Why give the LEO your CHL when you don't have your weapon with you?
It's not required. It only causes more questions from the officer.

I'm 54, law abiding citizen, don't speed, never had a ticket, and a grandpa.
We always had a rifle or two in the pickup, was normal in a small farm town. Shot guns all the time.
Just thought it might be wise. That is why I started this thread to get input.

Anyone can have a weapon in their vehicle Sept 1st. I bet alot of the people waiting for their CHL will want to have a weapon in their vehicle.
