Re: Frustration at 30.06 signage
Get a Red Cross CPR card. That's what I did so I can ignore 30.06 signs starting 9/1. ❄ If I was on the jury, I'd do my best to get you an acquittal, but, IMO a CPR card doesn't meet the volunteer definition. I'm not going to ask for the AG to give an opinion, but being a test case can be expensive...

Re: New Problem! M1A or M1 Carbine
Tough choice for sure. Owing a M1 carbine already, I can say it’s so much fun to shoot. Being a collector myself I’ve got plenty of higher caliber rifles to play with as well, but every year they just get harder to shoot. I reload so I can load the smaller 30 carbine rounds for around 20 to 25 cents...

Re: Prayers for Mrs. VolTexan
Prayers said for you, your wife and all who are struggling. My wife fell on Thursday and fractured her hip. Had surgery on Friday and was able to come home yesterday (Christmas eve). We gave thanks for that little blessing.

Re: 30.06/30.07 on County Annex
Correct, under penal code 30.06 a political subdivision of the state (county property) is not allowed to restrict license carrying. Unless the location is covered under PC 46.03 restricted access by a license holder. You mention that the JP’s office is in a separate building, you would have to make ...

Re: TX: Can you be evicted for having a gun in your apartment
There has been legal challenges in the past. And I know at least one federal judge has ruled that these types of housing units cannot restrict tenants from having a firearm in their apartments. And put on top of the 2019 Texas ruling that states property owners were not allowed to restrict tenants o...

Re: WHAT IS FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER
We are having the most exquisite Christmas dinner ever. A spiral ham, store bought scalloped potatoes and tamales. My wife fell on Wednesday and broke her hip, had surgery late last night. We are very thankful that it was a minor fracture and she gets to come home tomorrow (Christmas Eve). Bought th...

Re: Underage Question
Campus Carry is concealed carry. Also remind them that they will be required to carry concealed only until 21. That wasn't stated, but I assume that's what he meant. Yeah, sorry, I wasn’t very clear. Concealed carry only on college campuses. 18 to 21 with LTC can carry open or concealed.

Re: Small pistol vs small pistol magnum primers
Welcome. Just getting into reloading myself and I’ve had the same question. I am inclined to be in agreement with you as far as just load a few grain shy and you’ll most likely be OK.

Ammo prices to rise substantially
https://www.newsweek.com/ammo-prices-set-rise-substantially-vista-outdoor-firearms-1850528 Apparently power is supposed to start being in short supply and prices are going up. To that end I’m ramping up my base reloading supplies. I’m meeting a fellow tomorrow and buying around 10 to 15k primers, so...
