my dad got the judge as a snake/hog pistol for his land. he's now had to use it a few times, as he is clearing some underbrush to build his country get-away home. when using 410 and no.12, it's a beautiful snake gun. The pattern gets very wide quickly, so if it's not 10-12 feet or less the patter is...

I went to the range on sat, had bbq, and chatted with a few people. Then I dropped just over 400 rounds. I had a blast, and really enjoyed myself. since I live in Tomball, so their range is the most accessible to me. Even though I know the Mac Truck family well, I will always go to this range since ...

I talked with Mac last night. They are putting the final finishing touches on the range, and implementing some sound engineering to help with the noise. He expects them to open very very soon. I cannot say exactly when for sure, but they were considering opening in a few days to a week. I'll get him...

A non-resident permit will not allow you to bypass NICS in any state. Period. In order for a CCW/CFP/CHL to allow you to bypass NICS, it must be issued by the state in which you reside. Trust me on this one. I teach the license class for 2 different states, so this is one question I get asked frequ...

Wow!!! 13 views and no response. Maybe I should clarify my reason for the question. Since the NCIC check is a FEDERAL check, any state CCW/CHL should qualify you for purchase. The reason I am asking is that I was a dumbass in my youth, and when I fill out the form, I always get delayed, but then 3 d...

I cannot wait for this range to open!!!! I work with Mac, and have known him for a few years. This range is in the perfect location, and will be the only air conditioned range within quite a distance! Cheers to Mac and his family.

Reciprocity, and purchasing

I have a question that undoubtedly someone here will know the answer to. I am waiting on a Florida Non Resident CCW. This CCW will allow me, a Texas resident to carry in Florida. Also, this card has Texas reciprocity. What I am wondering is: since the the 4473 form allows holders of a CCW/CHL to pur...
