Re: Moving my guns to a trust, but not an NFA gun trust
If I pay a lawyer to draft trust documents, I expect them to answer these kinds of questions. If not, I would ask myself why I'm paying a lawyer instead of using Quicken Willmaker to do the trust. By the same token, if I pay an accountant to prepare my income tax return instead of using TurboTax, I ...

Re: Poll: Are anti 2A government officials evil?
I used to believe some well meaning people mistakenly support gun control laws. I'm not that naive any more. I now realize politicians who support laws to infringe the right of the people to keep and bear arms are evil or crazy. Those are the only conceivable options. Imagine somebody kidnaps a chil...

Maybe that's how the Texas Rangers now work. Based on events these past few years, the once respected Texas Rangers seem little more than a shadow of their former selves, especially morals and professionalism. https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/galveston-residents-say-they-were-handcuffed-led-...

There is nothing unfair about ag and wildlife exemption. Not as long as property tax revenue stays in the district where it's collected. If we want to pay lower taxes, we shouldn't expect other counties to subsidize our schools, etc. by paying higher property taxes. The robin hood scheme is indeed ...

Re: Property taxes
I kept hearing on the radio today that the governor has proposed a 1% increase in sales tax to offset any reduction in property taxes. The way the radio was reporting, it would be after there is a reduction in property taxes. How come I got a feeling we about to get taxed more not less? I get the f...
