Gov. may call in National Guard

This is how bad it can get in anti-RTC states. What a joke. http://www.nbc5.com/news/16901117/detail.html Blagojevich: Chicago May Need National Guard Help With gun violence at a crisis, Gov. Rod Blagojevich on Wednesday said he is in talks with Illinois State Police and the Illinois National Guard ...

Re: First Encounter with 30.06 at Taco Cabana

I've seen several TC's in my area with 30.06 signs that are not legal. The letters are between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. It looks like they shrunk the sign down to fit the door dimensions. In a situation like yours, if the sign wasn't legal I wouldn't let it stop me from being with my family. Especially sin...

Re: Best personal protection round...

Its a local company here in Texas, in the San Antonio area...Do a little research, and look at their data...Sure, they make it sound to good to be true, but I kinda like this stuff... "RBCD" is the name of the manufacture...No, I do not get a kickback, even though I should... ;-) If anyth...

Re: to all that have replied...

I'm increasingly excited to take my class on Saturday - not so that I can find a bad guy to nail; . I live in a very nice part of town and even carry to the Country Club when having dinner. I work in a nice business park. The daily grind is relatively clean. However, how often do you find yourself ...

Re: Almost Out of this Room!!!!!

I know that feeling goes away as time passes. . I've had mine for 4 months and can affirm that the feeling does in fact go away quickly. Only to be replaced with an occasional, humm...wonder if I'm printing... Nobody notices and those that do just have a knowing glint in their eye. It makes no diff...

Re: WTS: Glock 23 FTF in DFW

I alternately carry my 23 and its little brother 27 IWB and have found the 23, although slightly heavier, is not difficult to conceal. Use a good belt/holster combo. I like shooting the 23 more than the 27. It feels more balanced and the grip is more secure. The 27 is a great pocket gun and if I'm w...

I live in the SE edge of this this district. LISD is very large which over the years has faced many growth and policy challenges.
Happy to lend my support and thanks for bringing Nathan to our attention.

That sounds really fishy.
Turning a blind eye usually means there is money involved.
I would encourage her to go beyond the local police if she's not getting support.

Re: If Liberals win White House...

Man, I'd hate to fire one of those indoors. I'll bet it would break both eardrums and do permanent damage as well. I'm not sure if an AR is louder than a 12 ga. But the .223 Rem round has a very sharp "CRACK" kind of sound that I find quite painful, at least out of my Mini-14. I find a 12...

Welcome longhorn! 1911- Kimber Pro CDPII .45 or Glock 27 Although I prefer my Glock 23, I carry my Glock 27 primarily for comfort and maximum concealability. All depends on how I'm dressed. Both have ...for the time being...40 S&W RBCD 77gr. 2100 FPS Total Fragmenting Soft Point. I don't want t...

Re: If Liberals win White House...

I bought two of these for several reasons. My son loves shooting his Army issued Colt AK and when he's between tours, we spend time plinking. :patriot: One of them is his Christmas gift and the other is MINE. :evil2: Much to my chagrin, there is a strong probability the Dems will gain control of the...
