Re: Weapon recommendations in my price range

I am at your side Guardian. XD is a first class good carry.
You have done well & learned a lot through your first gun purchase.
That tells me you will learn fast concerning carry, your gear, & personal defense too.

Re: Weapon recommendations in my price range

Everyone on this board knows I am NO FAN OF Gaa, gaallaa, galocks. (there I got it out) :leaving Whether I like them or not, they are reliable, quality, & popular. They also have all the quality gear available that you can ever look at.

If you like them there is a pretty good deal on this board.
WTS FTF in Houston - LNIB G32 and 6 hi-cap mags - $450
in Firearms

If you wanted to you could sell the extra mags & get real close to what you want to have in the gun.

I do not personally know the seller or this gun.

Re: Weapon recommendations in my price range

A used one at a gun shop would a good possibility for your $400.00

The XD is an excellent choice for carry. It is reliable, accurate, has plenty of carry gear made for it & you like the safety features on it.
I always encourage new to carry folks & young couples establishing a household to buy the best gun they can possibly afford. If you need it you will want it to be completely reliable. How much is your safety worth? If you do not need it & 15 yrs from now want to upgrade it, the trade value or sale value will probably still be real close to what you pd for it and often more.
