I don't think you will be able to notice the difference in cycle time. Especiall on the 2nd shot & after. Ramped barrel? I believe YES. I carry the Pro CDP. Commander. I will not address cosmedics. They are personal preference. I really like the checkered front strap. Sweaty hands (and I have them in the summer) it really helps. That is the only thing I miss on Springer A1 I have. Also I think I would want the checkering on that small grip & 24 oz package for the recoil control. The ambi safety is very important if you train w/ both hands. It really does get as natural to thumb it w/ your left hand as right. At the same price I would go w/ the CDP every time. If you are going to shoot it really often & plan to KEEP IT, not sell it as do some. Then decide how long you will own it. 10 yr?? Then divide the difference in cost by the 10 & decide if you will pay that much more a yr for the different gun. If the difference is 200.00 initial $'s. (and I doubt that) That is 20.00 a yr. Shooting only once a month that is less than $2.00 a month. for what I carry "ALL DAY" "EVERY DAY". If you divide it by days carried instead of times shooting then you will be talking about pennies. I tell people this & suddenly it becomes evident why some quit carrying or do it spasmodically. Above applies to holsters, belts, mag carriers... This is no place to skimp & be uncomfortably irritated. Yes carrying is not supposed to be comfortable but comforting. Still no need to be uncomfortably irritated, gouged, & poked. It is too easy to be reasonably comfortable at worst & totally at best. Glad you tried th VMll. I did not think it would work for a lady. Try several & you will finally find one you like. Good searching.
