Braden, yes sir my "safe" is only as secure as my house. For houses, ours is far more secure than most but not as secure as some. No rain delay for this parade either. Dead bolts on steel doors. Windows locked & not ealily entered for the average thief. If they get in the house then the garage the safe appears to be a tool cabinet & it holds that too. 6' high by 4' wide & 2' deep. Yes a good 2lb hammer, 48" crowbar & 30 minutes they can get them. It will take longer to get in the chest though than the average thief wants to spend. & I could do that when a good fire proof & 1000 lb safe is out of our reach. Ignorance is still the best lock. Most do not break in where they dont think things are.

Diode. Garage attached to the house & secure G. doors. Steel doors & steel lock bars on inside to hold them down.
Venus, yes maam. When my feet hit the floor my R. hand is on my carry pistol. Wife has to take about 2 steps to grab hers & head for the closet.

I'll put the thread back on track. My "safe" is for security only. I made it. Lag bolted from inside to an inner wall of the garage. Takes 2 keys to get in. Very thief proof. Not very fire proof. Store all hunting & defense long guns & range hand guns in it. There is room for all my hunting ammo and PD ammo with room to spare.
