The Glock pistol is about the easiest, simpliest, most maintainable pistol on the market -hands down. Any person with internet access can easily learn to totally detail strip a Glock down to the last pin. And every part that might need replacing can be ordered off the net for crazy low prices.
Those reasons alone may not make the Glock the right pistol for everyone, but if takedown and maintenance are key factors in the decision the Glocks wins this one everytime
Just like a Remington shotgun. If you can only have one handgun it should be a Glock. And I rarely shot my Glock. I prefer my HK and XD but I will always have a Glock.
