Re: Is the Sportsman Outlet in Humble now open ?

I stopped by the store last night to check it out. It looks great! He's open full time now (for 3 weeks already they said) Mon - Sat 9 - 9:30 and Sun 12 - 5. Grabbed a new holster and some Blazer Brass that was on sale. Close to about the same amount of firearms on display as before give or take. Ac...

Re: Is the SPortsman Outlet inHumble now open ?

Saw your post so I just went ahead and emailed Gary (the owner) again since I was curious myself and had not asked him in quite a while. I just got his reply and he said the doors are open!!!! He's still got at least 3 weeks of work to do on the range though.... He's getting inventory in daily and i...

Re: Sportsman Outlet - Humble

Their website says they moved up to Thunder Gun Range in Conroe pending the re-opening of Sportsman's. Given that they have been up there for almost 2 years now, I wouldn't be sure of what will happen. I would imagine they have built a base membership who enjoy their proximity to the new location. H...

Re: Sportsman Outlet - Humble

Please anyone post news if we get a date for the "official" re-opening (or even an un-official one). I have been ready for several months to do my part to support the economy and Gary!

Re: Sportsman Outlet - Humble

Funny, I just checked in here today to see if there were any new posts before I emailed Gary to find out if there was any new status. My wife drove by a week ago and said the parking lot had several vehicles in it to the point that it almost appeared that he had finally re-opened. Sounds like it was...

Re: Sportsman Outlet - Humble

I drove by there again last weekend and there is still no construction going on that I can see. I am bummed because I really liked the place and it seems like maybe this could just drag on for a while. (every time someone hears something, it has been "just another month or two") I also hav...

Anyone heard any recent updates on this one? I emailed Gary the owner back in late September and they were still taking bids on the re-build. I don't want to keep bugging him as I know he must have his hands full. My wife drove by there the day it burned (just a few hours before) and almost stopped ...

Let us not forget either that while Ms Aguilar is the most to blame for this ridiculous piece, there is an entire line of producers who have ultimate say in what goes on the air. If they only hang her out to dry as the sacrificial goat, then they are as bad as she is. If they felt the story was egre...

I just gave them my feedback at the station website: ---------------------------------------------- I just watched the clip of Rebecca Aguilar assaulting an elderly gentleman in a parking lot over the burglar shootings. I am at a loss of words. What kind of Jerry Springer headline mongering journali...

CompVest, Thanks for that info. I see he is in PA though!!! We are in the Houston area. Any local resources you or someone would recommend for the same kind of M&P trigger job? Or is Burwell one of those few and far between specialists that is worth the extra effort? Not to hijack the thread, bu...

My wife and I got our CHL's together and our first pistols at about the same time. She has small hands and short fingers (to the point that finding correct fitting garden gloves is a chore). We looked at so many options for her. She did not want a revolver. I really wanted her to have something that...
