Back to the original topic, I carry when driving out of state specifically because of the types of people you encounter at rest stops and interstate gas stations. It always seems like the dregs of society congregate/accumulate along the interstates... Once I get to our destination (generally visitng family), gun normally stays locked up due to young kids in the house, or stays in the truck. Between my TX and FL CHL's, however, I am legal to carry when visiting both sides of the family...
