FIrst licensed at the age of 10 back in 1989. Talked all over the world on 10 meters. Finally passed 13wpm code to get my General license a little after that.
N9OHM ex. KB9CQW Not a vanity call, it was issued to me.

Re: US appeals court strikes down state's concealed-carry ba
I hope that it's a "shall issue" license instead of a "may issue" license. Hawaii has concealed carry, but they only issue one or two licenses a year.

Re: You'll Love What DPS in Palo Pinto County is Doing!!
Is there a law against covering up the S/N on a gun? My LCP's S/N is recessed into the frame. I could take some black silicone and fill it in. Im not defacing the S/N, not removing it, just covering it. I would think that it would be the same as placing a piece of paper over the VIN on the dash of a...

Re: Duck Dynasty
Duck Dynasty is a good show. I like for it's family values and that they end every show around the kitchen table. No vulgarity, no sex, no self centered egos. Too bad the boys are yuppie, yuppie, yuppies!! I still like the show though. It's funny and uplifting. http://www.aetv.com/duck-dynasty/pictu...

Re: Beams, beams, beams
Green lasers do produce a beam at night.
I have a Crimson Trace on my LCP because of it's lack of sights. I even have a pocket holster and an off the rack belt holster designed to be used with the laser.

Re: Quality Headphones?
Beats by Dre are kind of like Bose to me - all marketing. Most people never experience studio or audiophile level headphones so they are impressed by the mass marketed ones. For half that price you can get better, less fad, brands. That said, if I got a pair free I wouldn't refuse them. This also a...

To make hogs a little easier to handle, use a Weed Burner propane torch and burn off the hair and bugs before cleaning it.

I would assume that since the BATFE is involved, that this would be a Federal Case and tried in Federal Court instead of Texas courts. http://www.justice.gov/usao/co/community/primary_fed_firearms_statues.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 18 USC Section 924 (c)(1) Using, ...

Re: Petition to Allow Open Carry in Texas
If open carry were to pass in this state, is it intended for licensed or unlicensed people, or both? It is my understanding that in some states open carry is not licensed. I do not know if open carry will ever get to Texas, but open carry has always been legal here in Kentucky. Concealed carry came...
