I do not know if open carry will ever get to Texas, but open carry has always been legal here in Kentucky.

Concealed carry came along about the same time as it did in Texas.

Unlicensed open carry seems to work fine here in Kentucky and yes, I've seen a handful of open carriers. I would assume that there are more conceal carriers than there are open carriers so that's a good sign of how many folks in Kentucky embrace their 2nd amendment rights.

Do you find more open carry folks "out in the country" up there? I would think it would be that way, but that doesn't mean it is, so I'm curious to know your take on it.

There is no way I would not in Big Bend primative camp areas. Not in Panther Junction, HEB, Walmart or walking down a city street where it is illegal.
