Re: Hasta la Vista, Netflix
I received the same email this morning. It changes nothing for me. Several factors converged to drive my decision to cancel but, having made the decision, a reversal of 1 or 2 factors is not enough to reverse my decision. I have no ill will toward Netflix and may resubscribe down the road, but for now I still plan to cancel a week from today. Then do the Hulu Plus free trial to see what they offer. I'll continue to stream The Big Bang Theory on my laptop. (I might watch other CBS shows if they had a Roku channel. Anyone there listening?) Perhaps I'll even catch up on some reading.

Selection and availability?
That's been true since the VHS era. The question seems more about the mix of DVDs (Qwikster/Netflix, Redbox, other) and streaming (Netflix, Hulu/Hulu Plus, tv.com, other) and downloads and cable and IPTV and OTA and various other options available for home entertainment.Oldgringo wrote:Oh? Did I mention, snacks, drinks and projector control?

Re: Hasta la Vista, Netflix
After four years, this is my last month as well. Between the price increase, and the plan to split DVD & streaming into completely separate services & websites, the time has come for us to say sayonara. Too bad CBS doesn't have a Roku channel.
