I like to visit New Orleans for Lent...it's theoretically the only time of year it's bearable.

Grapevine could learn something from Galveston. They keep posting the two big Main Street festivals 30.06, even though they are municipal events, held on the closed off main street of town, taking up the entire downtown district. I'm guessing they'll add 30.07 signs this year. Until now, it has been my understanding that the police would enforce the signs as long as they were posted.
Great opportunity to exercise newly allowed open carry. I will go to the Festival if someone will come with me to video me being taken away by GVPD... :shock:
