Yeah I went to the range earlier this week and I guess there was a guy preparing for his CHL. He asked for a "green" target and sure enough it's about twice as big as the "normal" ones. I wonder if he'll be in my class, heh. Judging by his age and marksmanship I imagine he'd probably just be going for a renewal if anything though.striker55 wrote:I was surprised on how big the target was compared to distance, I thought it was a joke when he told me to shoot at it. I'm not excited in the sense that I'm going to the the best shot in the class but w/ 12" x 18" for a 5 point score as you say (which i understood to be the highest score per shot?) But seriously, you have a 12x18 window for a perfect score?! It seems like you would have to be drunk, stoned, and unconscious to fail that test then.
