No. One of the bits of advice you'll occasionally read on this forum to to get another state's license to cover you for delays in getting your Texas CHL renewed, as well as gain reciprocity with another state or two.I understand that if I returned to TX then my old licence would need to be renewed but does getting a CHL in another state require you to turn in your TX CHL?
