Re: Trigger Work

I am familiar with both Springer Precision and Canyon Creek. I have a Canyon Creek trigger job on my carry XD and love it.

What has changed since that time that I've had mine done, is that Springer Precision actually has replacement parts now instead of the modification that used to be done by Springer and Canyon Creek. If I were doing it now, I'd get the replacement parts.

I have read great things about Powder Precision as well. You can do lots of reading on this over at http://www.xdtalk.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Overall, if you are getting a trigger job done by someone reputable, you shouldn't have a problem. Remember that it has been argued in court that a trigger job helps you to be more accurate.

Now if you're just sitting there with a file trying to do it yourself and have no idea what you are doing, that is another story.
